On Thursday 17th August, we hosted our first Fundraiser, A Rescued Plate, at the Little Black Bird cafe on Market Street in Hastings.
It was a RESOUNDING success! We raised nearly $3,000, had 65 supporters attend, and enjoyed many plates of mouth-watering canapes cooked up by chefs Ben Cruse and Andrew Saxon. It was accompanied with wine kindly donated by Craggy Range Winery, Alpha Domus or a refreshing glass of beer from Brave Brewery.

It’s been 6 months and Nourished for Nil has come such a long way! We are continually humbled by the generosity of our community.
Our FOOD RESCUE is available to EVERYONE Monday to Friday 4:30-5:30pm, and Thursdays 10-11am for the 65+ community, at 1004 Karamu rd North in Hastings.
